Breathable Fabric
Breathable fabric is constitute one of the major protective of individual cloth use high attitude. the fabric having water, wind proof and water vapor permeation characterizes are referred as a breathable fabric. The breathability is such a factor which is used more function on wearing the last consumer. Its designed base on technical application. The poles of breathable fabric is 200 time smaller then the drop of liquid and 700 times larger then water molecular. that reason water can not to pass through but water vapor molecular can be easily to pass through to allow.
Mechanism of breathability:
The ability of air permeability of fabries is allowed to pass through it. a air permeability have relatively high moisture vapor transmission, it not necessary to be air permeability to be breathable. there have two types of mechanism to be a breathable fabric stand by:
1. Physical: Hydrophobic are water proof and with stream permeable. micro porous coating or limitation has pores that are very small as a result water can not go through but vapor molecular are more smaller then liquid from molecular that are going through in fabrics.
2. Chemical: By chemical deffusion are moved moisture to non porous limination or coating of hydrophilc. The water molecular positive charge and hydrophilic PU is negative charged. The water molecular is attacked inter molecular gaps of hydrophilic PU. Because of the ionic bond is relatively weak. the water can not to pass through and water vapor can to pass trough all way.
Types of breathable fabric: The breathable fabric mainly three types as there functional and technical purpose.
Cotton ventile: It is oldest types of breathable fabric. the fabric compact weave and finishing, When the cotton fabric becomes wet the cotton fibres swells. as a result the fabric becomes more compact. Hence water molecular can not pass through but water vapor can easily to pass through.
Coating fabrics with micro coated: It is special types of coated fabrics. The coated contains very fine holes. as the result water molecular can not pass through the fabric but water molecular in vapor form can easily to pass through. Gortex is an example of class of fabric.
Hydrophilic film coated fabric: The fabric is coated with hydrophilic film. This film absorbs vapor from one side and pass the absorbed vapor in other side of the fabric, but water molecular can not pass through the film. In the film coating, the polymer solution contains certain isocyante and special polymerization method is used.

Raw material of the breathable fabric is affected to human body. therefore breathable fabric is used to function and technical purpose some of the fabrics has incredible features to performed as the breathability and there are given below:
1. Cotton: The cotton has natural features like soft, durable, breathable, and east to care , moisture absorbs that reason we can be used in summer season as summer clothing. because of in summer we plan to break swear, sharing to heat, evaporating to cooling effect.
2. Nylon and polyester: There have two synthetic material is most active-wear as the breathable clothing. it has wick moisture, quickly dries, resist to piling and absorbs but it has not soft like cotton, retain odor and most disadvantages is breathability vary on the yarn and weave structure.
3. Rayon: It is regenerated or blended by two different feature of material which as required for end use like rayon viscose, lycocell. It has silky feel, moderate breathability, dries quickly but that dose not wick moisture as the nylon and polyester.
4. Linen: Got from flex its similar to cotton appearance best to use as casual in summer wear. it has soft feel, very durable and easy to care as like cotton. it has excellent breathability. Its most popular clothing style and more weave features.
5. Silk: Most use in underwear . it is luxurious soft, light weight, breathability but dose not moisture wicking and retain odor.
6. Wool: Its best use in long underwear and winter clothing . its has breathable well, moisture wick, light weight but it has not durable like cotton and nylon or polyester
